Gatherino vs Tally — when a generous free plan is not enough
Tally is popular for giving a lot away for free and for an editor you write like a document. Gatherino goes the other way: it is about what happens to a response after it arrives. If collecting answers is all you need, Tally will probably do. If work follows the answer, read on.

A survey, a sign-up, a contact capture. You read the answers or push them to a spreadsheet and that is the end of it.
You want to write a form like a document
Tally’s editor is typing, not assembling fields. Some people much prefer that.
The budget is zero
Tally’s free plan is generous. Gatherino’s free plan is 3 forms and 100 responses a month.
Tally stops being enough when
You need a signature
A signature in the form, rendered into the PDF, is an ordinary feature in Gatherino.
Responses have states
New → In progress → Paid → Done. Custom statuses, filters and bulk changes right in the response table.
Data goes to accounting
POHODA export, XLSX in your own column order, a PDF per response.
Where the data lives matters
EU servers, daily backups, team roles, and access limited to selected forms.
What Gatherino does not do
So the comparison is fair: Gatherino does not take payments inside the form, has no one-question-per-screen conversational layout, offers no custom domain for forms, and cannot import historical responses from another tool. If any of that is critical for you, settle it before you start moving forms across.
Price
Gatherino: Free (3 forms, 100 responses a month), Pro at 250 CZK a month (25 forms, 5,000 responses), Business at 750 CZK a month (no limits). Invoices carry a company ID and VAT number; you can pay in CZK or EUR.
Check Tally’s current terms on their own site — free plans change more often than paid ones. Decide on what you need to do with responses, not on how many you are allowed to receive.

Can I move responses over from Tally?
Not automatically. Rebuild the form in the editor and keep your Tally CSV export as an archive.
Does Gatherino support custom branding?
Yes — colours, logo and thank-you page on every plan. Removing the “Powered by Gatherino” line is a Business-plan feature.
