Online survey
A survey takes minutes to assemble — the trouble usually starts afterwards. Answers have to be read, not just collected. So alongside collection Gatherino gives you a summary that shows the distribution for every question, and an export you do not have to retype.
What a survey is made of
Rating scales
Stars, a numeric scale, a slider or NPS. Each one gets a distribution chart in the summary, and NPS gets a calculated score.
Choices and checkboxes
One option, several options, yes/no. The summary shows how often each option was picked.
Open questions
Short and long text. Browse them in the table and filter; search ignores diacritics.
Anonymous mode
Turn it on and the form asks nobody to sign in, and responses are not tied to a respondent profile.
How to go about it
- 1
Only ask what you will act on
A question whose answer changes nothing just makes the survey longer. Before adding it, say what you would do on “yes” and what on “no”.
- 2
Split a long survey into steps
Several short screens with a progress bar beat one long one. Partially filled responses are saved, so people can come back.
- 3
Skip what does not apply
Conditional logic shows follow-up questions only to the people they concern. Everyone else never sees them.
- 4
Decide on anonymity up front
An anonymous survey gets franker answers but leaves you unable to follow up. Choose based on what you will do with the data.
- 5
Watch where people drop off
Partial responses show the step people got stuck on. That is usually where a question stopped them.
Anonymity has a limit worth knowing: even without a sign-in, the submission time and IP address are stored with the response. In a small internal sample a combination of answers can identify someone without a name — if you promise anonymity, do not also ask for department, seniority and contract type.
FAQ
Is the online survey free?
The free plan covers 3 forms and 100 responses a month, including scales, conditional logic and anonymous mode. Paid plans start at 250 CZK a month.
Can people answer anonymously?
Yes, with anonymous mode. Responses are then not tied to a respondent profile and nobody has to sign in.
How do I read the results?
In the summary, which shows the distribution for each question and a histogram for scales. Everything exports to CSV, XLSX or JSON at any time.
Can I embed the survey on our site?
Yes — either as a link and QR code, or embedded directly in the page.
