Field types

A form is only as good as the questions it can ask. Gatherino ships more than thirty field types — from plain text to a finger-drawn signature, an autocompleted address, or a repeatable group where respondents add as many rows as they need.

The fields people use most

Text, email, phone

Short and long text, validated email, phone with a country dial code. The phone field keeps the format; the email field catches malformed input.

Autocompleted address

Optional Google Maps hookup: the respondent starts typing a street and the city and postcode fill in. Addresses are stored structurally, so exports do not collapse them into one column.

E-signature

Signed by finger on mobile or mouse on desktop. Stored with the response and embedded into the generated PDF.

Files and images

Documents, photos and scans uploaded straight to the response — no email attachments.

Currency and numbers

Amounts in EUR, CZK and other currencies with correct formatting. Numeric fields with your own range.

Rating, scale, NPS

Stars, linear scale, slider and NPS 0–10 — for satisfaction surveys and feedback.

Repeatable groups

When a respondent needs to fill in several items of the same kind — three children for a summer camp, five order lines, two travel companions — you use a repeatable group. The respondent adds another row themselves and fills the same set of fields.

The group stays together in the responses and in exports, so you always know which name belongs to which date of birth.

FAQ

How many fields can a form have?

There is no limit. For longer forms we recommend multi-step mode — the respondent sees one step at a time and their progress is saved.

What is an internal field?

A field only your team sees in the results table, never the respondent. Useful for notes, internal reference numbers or review outcomes.

Can a form calculate?

Yes, a calculated field derives its value from other fields — for example a total from quantity and unit price.

Can fields be conditional?

Yes. Each field can carry a “show when…” rule, so it only appears for the respondents it applies to.
