1. Subject of the agreement
The seller sells the following vehicle to the buyer: make and model [make and model], VIN [VIN], registration plate [registration plate], year of manufacture [year], registration document number [number], odometer reading at handover [number] km (the “vehicle”), and transfers ownership of the vehicle to the buyer. The buyer purchases the vehicle and undertakes to pay the purchase price.
The seller declares that they own the vehicle, that it is not encumbered by third-party rights (such as a lien, lease financing or enforcement proceedings) and that they are not aware of any obstacle to its sale.
2. Purchase price and payment
The purchase price is [amount] CZK (in words: [amount in words] Czech crowns).
The buyer will pay the purchase price by bank transfer to the seller’s account by [date] / in cash on handover of the vehicle (delete as appropriate).
3. Vehicle handover
The seller will hand the vehicle over to the buyer on [date] at: [handover location], together with [number] keys, the vehicle registration certificate (both the small and large technical certificates) and other documents: [e.g. service book].
Ownership of the vehicle and the risk of damage to it pass to the buyer on handover of the vehicle.
4. Vehicle condition
The buyer inspected the vehicle and familiarised themselves with its condition before entering into this agreement.
The seller has informed the buyer of the following defects in the vehicle: [description of defects, or “no known defects”].
5. Change of owner in the vehicle register
The parties will apply to register the change of owner in the road vehicle register within 10 working days of the transfer of ownership.
The buyer will arrange motor vehicle liability insurance (compulsory third-party insurance) effective as of the date they take possession of the vehicle.
6. Final provisions
Rights and obligations not governed by this agreement are governed by Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code.

What the agreement should contain
Vehicle identification
Make, model, year, VIN, registration plate, registration document number and the odometer reading at the time of sale.
Price and payment
Amount, currency, cash or transfer, and any deposit. The currency field enforces the format.
Statement of condition
A description of known faults and damage. This is the part that ends up disputed, so be specific and attach photos through a file upload field.
Signatures and date
If both parties need to sign, add two signature fields and sign the form together on one device. Gatherino does not offer remote signing by the other party. Add the place and date. All of it is rendered into the PDF.
What not to forget
The agreement is only one part of the sale. Re-registering the vehicle is a separate act that the contract does not replace — that needs documents and cooperation from both parties under the rules of the relevant authority.
Private sales often turn on whether the car was sold “as seen”. Whatever you agree, write it down specifically; a blanket phrase with no description of the actual condition will not help you in a dispute.
Attach photos of the vehicle and the odometer to the form itself. They are stored with the response, so they sit with the contract rather than somewhere in a phone gallery.

FAQ
Is a finger signature on a phone enough?
It is a simple electronic signature under eIDAS, commonly used for private used-car sales. For larger amounts, check the other party’s ID in person.
Does the agreement replace re-registration?
No. Re-registering the vehicle is a separate act with the relevant authority; the contract is the basis for it, not a substitute.
Can I attach photos of the car?
Yes, with a file upload field. The photos are stored with the response alongside the agreement.
Do both parties get a copy?
Yes, the generated PDF is emailed and also stays in your response list.
